Patzy is a lovely filly with some presence about her. She’s beautiful and she knows it and is going to be lots of fun for someone to produce. She has passed all her incoming checks with us and is a real credit to her trainer. Patzy holds a consistent contact, has a beautiful way of going, and shows correct, balanced paces that make her very appealing as a future show hack or all-round riding horse. She moves correctly, is soft and trainable, and gives you that lovely “blank canvas” feel that makes producing a young horse so rewarding. With time and correct production, she has all the ingredients to really shine. We would absolutely love to see someone take her on and produce her to her full potential.

A super honest all rounder mare. Dee has been with us for a month now and we’ve ticked off different experiences for her and she has been a lovely straightforward ride for us. Dee’s in super order, booked in for a chiro early next week and a fresh set of shoes all ready for her new home. Dee has been working nicely on the flat improving with every ride. A solo hack around the property at home didn’t worry her either. On the jumping front she’s ever so genuine and tries super hard. While she isn’t uber snappy in front and wasn’t worried if she knocked her legs she would just come back around and go again. A float trip late this week on a straight loader and solo outing around XC for the first time and she aced that too. Whatever we’ve put in front of her, she seems cool enough to say yes each time. Didn’t need any specific riders at the track and all riders could ride her as she was straightforward there too.

Cody is a scopey, athletic 17hh gelding who is really starting to show his potential as he transitions from racehorse to sport horse. Still growing into his big frame, he’s proving to be a smart, willing horse who improves with every ride. Under saddle he’s settling well, happy to cruise around, showing a lovely natural balance and beginning to understand contact and work through himself. Despite having a good engine, he’s never hot or racey, happily comes back down the gears, and remains rideable in new environments. Cody has now had several rides including his first jumping sessions, progressing quickly from poles to confidently trotting and cantering into a cross bar, barrels and fillers. He’s shown a neat technique, listens well, and we feel he’ll be a genuine jumper once the penny fully drops. On the ground he’s still learning about his size and strength, but there’s no malice at all just a big young horse making steady improvements. Easy to gear up, new shoes, dental up to date, and has trucked and angle floated. Due to his size and strength he won’t suit a nervous or inexperienced home, but in the right hands he has all the ingredients to become a quality show hunter or sport horse. A very exciting young prospect with a big future 🧡

Tina has been a delight to have at our place for the last month. She has been the easiest horse to have around. Came with a glowing report from her trainer as being reliable and we couldn’t agree more. Tina is a lovely natured mare, easy on the eye, a really nice quality type. During her race career she has had quite a varied life, beach hacking, lots of hacking miles, sport horse schooling, working alone, babysitting younger horses etc. Tina floats, is perfect for the farrier, has had a dental done, worming up to date and regular body work during her race career. Someone is going to have lots of fun with her! Would be a great first hack, or even a mum who wants to cruise.

This mare seems very low key – took everything in her stride, straight forward and just wanted to please. Blinky has quite a big stride – she was smooth and had a nice soft mouth. A usual quick W,T,C each rein which she did with ease. Managed the small circles well, and was nicely balanced. She was giving me teenager vibes as feels like a really fun mount who should do a bit of everything.

Scotch is a handsome big gentle giant. Adores being pampered, and has been easy to handle so far with us. We have been ticking off his WOF items including a chiropractic treatment, followed by a week to rest from it and getting him ready for his test drive. He has a big frame, and I think will let down into a strong big type in time. Handled his test drive and outing all rolled in to one. He really is a genuine big sort, and floated like a dream.
