All horses MUST be presented to the re-trainer in a condition that enables it to enter the retraining programme straight away. The cost of transport to the re-trainer is to be covered by the Accountable Person. The following information is to ensure that the re-trainer is fully apprised of the horse’s history and suitability to enter the programme. The re-trainer has the right of refusal for any horse that is not able to enter a retraining program immediately. For further clarity please speak to the re-trainer or NZTR Welfare Coordinator. Please ensure the SR24 Retirement form has been completed by the Accountable person to ensure the horse is retired from being an active participant in the Stud Book.
